The New York State Direct Care Physicians Alliance aims to support, promote, and advance direct patient care models across the State of New York. The organization seeks to strengthen the physician–patient relationship, improve access to transparent and affordable healthcare, and advocate for policies that enable physicians to practice medicine with greater autonomy and reduced administrative burden.

The mission of the New York State Direct Care Physicians Alliance (NYS DCPA) is to advance and support the practice of direct patient care across New York State by empowering physicians, fostering innovation in healthcare delivery, and advocating for policies that strengthen the doctor–patient relationship. The Alliance is dedicated to promoting transparent, accessible, and high-quality care while reducing administrative burdens that interfere with meaningful patient care.
The New York State Direct Care Physicians Alliance (NYS DCPA) envisions a healthcare system in which physicians and patients collaborate freely in a transparent, affordable, and relationship- based model of care. We strive for a future where direct care practices thrive across New York State, improving health outcomes, restoring professional satisfaction for physicians, and ensuring that patients have greater access to personalized, compassionate medical care.
Our Objectives
Supporting physicians and patients through education and advocacy.
Education
Delivering transparent and accessible information regarding direct care healthcare models to enhance understanding among physicians, patients, and policymakers about the advantages of this model.
Advocacy
Driving state-wide legislative change to recognize and support direct care physicians and practices in the State of New York in order for direct care to reach its potential in this great state.
Provide education, mentorship, and professional support for physicians interested in or currently practicing in direct care models.
